A new toy!
As I make the 35mm composites I view them on the slide projector and ponder what works or doesn’t and get all the maybes and definites scanned at highest resolution possible. This was proving very costly, so I bought a more low fi 35mm slide scanner to help me decide if the questionable ones were worth the high res scanning.
The Veho is incredibly easy and simple to use, and it’s doing the job I need it to do but I was gobsmacked at the difference in sharpness and image quality from my high res scans. And so it should be, one is a 2mb file one is 25mb. It’s a good little tool and its useful for deciding the images I want to have high res scanned for selling and which I can take part again to find a better companion for.
